J -- MAINTENANCE OF FURNACE UNITS SOL 057&&&-9703-0002 POC Fran Malinowski Procurement Analyst (205) 235-4256 Janice Norton Contracting Officer (205) 235-6629 (Site Code DAAC01) Anniston Army Depot is seeking sources for companies with the capabil ity to perform maintenance on two(2) furnaces and one(1) blast washer. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. DO NOT REQUEST SOLICITATION. There are two furnaces (Internal Quench Batch Furnace/7998 and Batch Tempering Furnace/7998) and one Batch Washer/8751 manufactured by Atmosphere Furnace Company. Pre-scheduled maintenance will include hot and cold inspections and temperature uniformity surveys to be performed two times per year. Necessary equipment repairs will be performed during the pre-scheduled maintenance to restore equipment to 100 percent operational levels. There is also a requirement for unlimited on-site emergency repairs. Vendor must be able to respond to request for services within twenty-four (24) clock hours after notification that services are required. Only new, standard repair parts, or certified replacements of equal quality, shall be used in performing repairs. Interested companies are requested to reply and briefly state their current business and provide any technical litera ture available, or past experience. Responses should be submitted not later than 30 days after synopsis appears in CBD.
