perform radiographic inspection of 120mm mortar explosively loaded
projectiles. Effort involves con- ducting radiographic inspections of
approximately 100,000 projectiles in 3 different planes per projectile.
Each steel projectile contains approximately 6.5 lbs of composition B
high explosive. Radiographic equipment must be capable of detecting
both surface and internal cavitation in the explosive casting as small
as 1/64 square inch as well as porosity, piping, and cracks. This
request is for informational literature only at no cost to the U.S.
Army. Please provide responses by May 16, 1997 with details of
