Hamel, Contracting Officer The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) requires the production of Geospatial Information. NIMA is soliciting for a demonstration of production and delivery to NIMA of the following Geospatial Information: (1) digital orthorectified images, (2) precisely controlled digital stereo photogrammetric data bases, (3) digital terrain matrix data, and (4) digital vector feature data. This demonstration is an initial phase of NIMA's effort to identify qualified contractors (or teams of contractors) to participate with NIMA in the production of Geospatial Information. Successful results of this demonstration will qualify a contractor to compete for follow-on production contracts. The demonstration area is planned to be two one-degree cells over the United States. The products will be produced using National Technical Means (NTM) digital imagery provided by NIMA. As the NTM is classified, offerors must have a facility clearance to the SECRET level. Contractors selected for a demonstration contract who do not possess clearences will be allowed to submit facility clearance applications however, a contract will not be awarded until a clearance is obtained. No foreign nationals are allowed to participate in this procurement. In addition to NTM, NIMA will provide imagery support data and maps and charts. It is anticipated that multiple demonstration contracts will be awarded. To be considered for future multiple year production contract award, this demonstration must be successfully completed.
