The purpose of this amendment to Solicitation No. 475450-97-A-0028 is to extend the date set for receipt of Qualification Statements from April 4, 1997, to May 7, 1997. In addition, some of the requirements have been changed as follows: 1) Five years experience as a Design/Build entity, Architect/Engineer and/or Construction Contractor. 2) One (1) comparable renovation project on-going or completed within the past five years. "Comparable renovation project" is defined for the purposes of this solicitation as renovations to an existing facility containing a minimum of 100,000 square feet, construction complexity to be equal to or greater than light industrial as per New York City code. Projects shall include extensive exterior and interior work, mechanical/electrical, structural and light mechanization work. Comparable cost range must be a minimum of $10 million. 3) One comparable design/build project on-going or completed in the past five years. "Comparable design/build project" is defined for the purposes of this solicitation as a renovation of an existing facility or new construction project containing a minimum of 100,000 square feet where the construction contractor or the design/build entity has participated. Comparable cost range must be a minimum of $10 million. 4) Design build project(s) on-going or completed in the past five years where the principal members of this design/build entity have participated as a team.
