brickhov@efdlant.navfac.navy.mil. The work is for performing remedial
actions at environmentally contaminated sites predominantly located at
Department of Navy and Marine Corps installations and other Government
agencies. These sites are generally located on the east coast of the
United States but predominantly in Virginia, North Carolina, West
Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, however,
this contract does not preclude performing specific projects in the
remaining LANTDIV areas of responsibility which includes the Caribbean,
Central America, Europe, and Africa. The contaminants will include but
not be limited to those identified and regulated under RCRA, CERCLA,
CAA, CWA, TSCA, and petroleum oils and lubricants. The contaminants
included are predominantly solvents, metals, acids, bases, reactives,
polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), pesticides, and low level radiological
materials and petroleum, oils, and lubricants (POL). The contract will
be a cost-plus-award fee, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery. The
contract period will be from date of award through 30 September 1998.
The subsequent option years, if exercised, will extend the contract
from 1 October through 30 September of each consecutive year. Total
duration of the contract, including options, if exercised, shall not
exceed 60 months. Source Selection procedures will be used. Offerors
will be required to submit technical proposals in accordance with the
requirements of the RFP. The technical factors are: Past Performance,
Corporate Experience, Management, Resources, and Technical
Comprehension/Project Application. The RFP will be released in the
May-June time frame. A charge will be made for each solicitation in the
amount of $25.00. This price includes priority mail postage. The
specification will be made available upon receipt of a written request,
and a non-refundable check or money order made payable to the U.S.

June 1997 at the Comfort Inn in Norfolk, VA. Pursuant to FAR Clause
52.222-49, Service Contract Act, Place of Performance Unknown, offerors
are requested to provide the name of their State and County of the
office location where Program Management Office functions will be
performed by 2 June 1997 in order that wage determinations can be
obtained for those areas. Provide this information to the Contract
