Z -- REMOVE/REPLACE PCB TRANSFORMERS SOL F31610-97-B0007 DUE 060397 POC Judi Pletcher, Contract Specialist, (919)736-6547, ext 255 This solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis in accordance with DOD FAR CLAUSE 252.219-7008. Replies are requested from all concerns as well as from large business concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000. and $250,000. Work includes but is not limited to the following: At Seymour Johnson AFB NC, building 2121; replace main 3-167 KVA PCB contaminated transformers with 500 KVA pad mounted transformer and re-work the primary and secondary conductors. Replace main service fuse switchboard. Replace 3-25 KVA PCB transformers in the mechanical room with 75 KVA dry type transformer and replace fuse panels. Clean-up and remove panels, conduit, conductors and switches in the mechanical room to create space for new equipment. Remove 3-15 KVA assumed PCB contaminated transformers and replace fuse panel inside BLDG 2121. Replace 45 KVA dry type transformer with 75 KVA dry type transformer. Remove boost transformers, rework and change taps of various transformers. Replace 1,000 KVA PCB contaminated transformer in building 4537. Replace 3-25 KVA assumed PCB transformers on Curtis Avenue. At Fort Fisher NC replace 1-25 KVA PCB contaminated transformer and 2-25 KVA assumed PCB transformers. Solicitation will be available on or about 02 May 97.
