Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and transportation required to perform the following work: Basic Bid Item 0001: Remove a timber floating dock and fixed timber pier and to install two new concrete floating docks with new steel pipe anchor piles, new aluminum gangways, and potable water and electrical service at U.S. Coast Guard Station Oak Island in Caswell Beach, North Carolina. Performance period is 150 days after Notice to Proceed. Special Notice: Actual construction at the site, from the start of any physical work to the final acceptance of all required work by the Government shall not exceed 30 days. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance, and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
