It is intended to place a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the fabrication of ORDALT Hardware (SHIPSETS) for Ram Pump Ejection System Upgrade, ORDALT # 16264. Includes all ORDALT components, some with quality requirements imposed (MIL-I-45208 inspection). The requirement is for 4 SHIPSETS in the first year (9 Months) with 4 options of 2 SHIPSETS each (12 SHIPSETS Total). SIC Code 3699 (750 Employees) applies. The contra ct resulting from this solicitation will be awarded to that responsible offeror submitting the technically acceptable proposal determined to be the Best Value for the Government based on the following evaluation criteria: Technical Capability and Total Price. Technical Capability will be determined in accordance with the following factors, based on information submitted in response to the provisions in Section L entitled Technical Proposals . In order to be determined technically acceptable, the offeror must be technically acceptable in each of the areas identified: Technical Approach, Past Performance and Management Approach (a and b are relatively equal, and significantly higher than c). Drawing packages are available to prospective offerors at a cost of $350.00 per complete set.
