This is a source sought market survey synopsis seeking vendors for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) IEW Systems Suite requirement. The purpose of this synopsis is to determine whether there are sources capable of meeting the Government's requirements as described below. This announcement is to assess interest only. The requirement is as follows: Commercial Off The Shelf/Non Developmental Item (COTS/NDI) equipment providing modern Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities which counter tactical single channel, command and control (C2) communications systems which employ low probability of intercept (LPI), frequency agility and other special anti-jam techniques to improve battlefield survivability. An FMS customer (unspecified) requires IEW system with limited capabilities. This would be less than a Robust system, however, the architectural design should be such that the system could grow. The USA CECOM will host a Pre-Capabilities Brief on 30 Apr 97 at Fort Monmouth, NJ with vendors who can satisfy these requirements on a COTS/NDI basis. USA CECOM reserves the right to request at anytime a NO Cost Demo of the COTS/NDI. Attendance will be limited to vendors holding a Secret Clearance. It is incumbent on all attendees to provide proof of this clearance (AMC Form 1663) to the Security Officer, Mr. Fred Otten, DATAFAX: 908/532-4296/6874 in the Security Assistance Management Directorate prior to 30 Apr 97.
