conducted under the NASA MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the
Office of Federal Procurement Policy. NASA/SSC intends to negotiate
only with Pacific Instruments under the authority of 10 U.S.C.
2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies/services
will satify the agencyrequirements for the following items: 160 each,

10-Channel Master Rack Enclosure, Model R93-010-M-2602,
fifteen(15)each, 10-Channel Slave Rack Enclosure, Model R93-010-S-2603,
eight(8)each, Fan Assembly, Model FM3F, one(1)each, 3-Bay Cabinet
Subsystem for Item No.1, one(1)each 10-Channel Rack Enclosure, Model
R10AC-115, one(1)each, Configuration Software & Interface Cable, Model
CAL-9355, one(1) each, Configuration Software & Interface Cable, Model
CAL 70A, one(1)each, 9355 Series Calibration Software, one(1)each,
Amplifier Test & Verification Software, Model AMP93, one(1)each,
Software Upgrade, Model ACS1000, one(1)each, 10-Channel 8655 Rack
Enclosure, Model R10AWH-115, one(1)each, Configuration Software &
Interface Cable, Model CAL-8600, one(1)each, 10-Channel 9255 Rack
Enclosure, Model R90-010-M-I, and one(1)each, Configuration Software &
Interface Cable, Model CAL-9200. An option for two(2) additional
systems is included in this requirement. The Government intends to
acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have 15
days from publication on the NAIS and the CBDNet to submit a proposal
to include:Descriptive literature of the offered products, prices,
availability, warranty, invoice terms, warranty, and business size
which will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not
to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received
after 15 days without the required information will be considered
nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A
determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract,
on a full and open competitive basis,based upon responses to this
notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All
responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by
