A -- EISENHOWER NATIONAL CLEARINGHOUSE FOR MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE EDUCATION SOL RFP-97-024 DUE 052897 POC Yolanda L. Abney, 202-708-6498, Zilphia Wright, Contract Specialist, 202-708-8572 Eisenhower National Clearinghouse for Mathematics and Science Education. The Development and Demonstration Programs Division (DDPD) of the Office of Reform Assistance and Dissemination, Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), United States Department of Education (ED) proposes to solicit a twelve (12) month contract with four (4) optional years to provide the operation of the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse for Mathematics and Science Education (ENC). ENC is responsible for identifying and collecting all mathematics and science curriculum and instructional materials and programs for elementary, middle, and secondary schools, and disseminating information about them in various print and non-print formats. The requirement includes materials and programs developed with Federal and non-Federals funds. In addition, the Clearinghouse will be asked to expand its role in Eisenhower Regional Consortia. RFP-97-024 will be issued on or about April 25, 1997. Is is anticipated that the closing datefor receipt will be on May 28, 1997. Telephone request should be placed by calling 202-708-6498. Copies may be picked up after the date of release. Because of tightened security, offerors cannot enter our building on their own. To pick up a copy of the RFP or to drop off proposals, offerors shall go to the D Street exit and have the guard call Support Services Group (SSG) at 202-708-8191 and ask to sign the offeror in, in order to deliver the proposal to SSG.
