hblackeagle@gp.usbr.gov. The work consists of furnishing and installing
a 6- by 9-feet high steel trashrack on the intake to the outlet works.
Installation of the trashrack will be underwater, requiring the use of
divers. Gate modification work consists of removing and disposing of
the existing 3-ich-diamter gate stem from the 48- by 48-inch guard
gate, including disconnecting and removing the manual gate lift, stem
nut in the gate body, ten stem guides, and removal of the equipment
from the gate house. This willrequire some underwater removal. The new
gates to be installed shall be 3-inch dimater stainless steel, with 10
new, fully adjustable stem guides. The estimated price range of the
work is $100,001 to $250,000. The work is located at Willow Creek Dam,
approximately 6 miles northwest of Augusta, Montana, in Lewis and
Clark county. Solicitation packages will be available approximately May
15, 1997. Bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 10:00 a.m., June 17,
1997, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional
Office, 316 North 26th Street, Room 2031 Federal Building, Billings,
Montana. The contract must be completed within 120 calendar days after
receipt of notice to proceed. There is no charge for the first copy of
the solicitation; additional copies will be provided upon receipt of a
nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 for each copy. After
issuance, the solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the Bureau
of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street,
Room 2031 Federal Building, Billings, Montana. All responsible sources
may submit an offer which sall be considered by the Bureau of
Reclamation. All sources responding to this synosis shall submit
information relating to business status, including identification as to
whether small, large, or minority owned, and/or woman-owned. For this
acquisition, the small business size standard is $17,000,000, and the
standard industrial classification code is 1629. All prospective
offerors and subcontractors are encouraged to request a copy of the
