241 The Yakima Field Office, Yakima, Washington, has a requirement for
eighty each 16' long log boom sections, for use at Keechelus and
Kachess dams, located west of Cle Elum, Washington. They are used as
safety barriers, from allowing trash, debris, boaters, etc., from
coming too close to the intake gates. Each log boom section shall be
rough cut wood to be incised and pressure treated with wood
preservative to prevent deterioration (CCA-C pressure treated wood),
all metal parts to be dip galvanized, and to be a equal to or better
than drawing no. 33-109-265 (included in request for quotations). All
sources requesting a copy of the RFQ shall do so in writing. Telephone
requests will not be accepted. FAX requests will be accepted at (509)
454-5615. All sources responding to this synopsis shall submit
information relating to business status, including identifications as
to wether small, large, minority-owned, and/or women-owned. This
aquisition shall be a small business set-aside. The standard size is
500 employees and the standard industrial classification code is 5031.
All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by
