This public notice is to request suppliers to provide NTT with general referential information on similar products or technology prior to procurement of the intended product (mentioned below) by NTT. This public notice is also to request that any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the procurement program of this product should declare their intentions to that effect. This public notice is not intended to guarantee public notification of procurement of the product. (1) Name: Submarine Cable Plough Type Burial System (2) Overview:Submarine Cable Plough Type Burial System, which sholud be mounted on the cable laying vessel niminated by NTT, is the main purpose to bury a cable simultaneously laid. The summary of the specification as followings: -- -Applicable Maximum Water Dept : more than 1000m -- -Maximum Burial Depth : more than 2.0m -- -Main components are as followings:a)Plough type burying machine and attached equipment b)Launch and Recovery Crane c)Towing wire and the winch d) Electirc Power / Control Cable and the winch e) Control Unit f)Others(3) Contents of RFI: NTT is inviting the following types of information on a product or technology similar to the above-mentioned system. This is not, however, a request for suppliers to provide proprietary and/or confidential information, (i)Technical information -Weight and dimension of the burying machine -Specification of applicable water depth and burial depth -Specifications of attached equipment such as TV camera etc. -Specification of Towing wire and required length -Specification of Control/ Power cable and required length -Weight, dimension and etc. of Launch and Recovery Crane -- Mounting method and required condition of Launch and Recovery Crane -Main components and each specification of Control Unit -Explanation of launch and recovery procedure (ii)(Budgetary) price The product shall be delivered to Japan and the price shall include all necessary costs for delivery. The price for a converted vessel shall include its total price and its breakdown such as a camera, equipment and machinery, converting cost. (iii)Standard time of delivery after ordering (iv)Sales records (in Japan and in other countries) (v)Others guarantee system after delivery training system after delivery (4) Request for Declaration of the Intention of Participating as a Subcontractor: Any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the product procurement program of NTT, are requested to supply NTT with the information listed below. After preparing a list of supplied information, NTT will provide the list to suppliers who wish to be provided with it, to those who have responded to the request for supply of the information listed and to those who have received the PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTATION relating to procurement of the product.
