This public notice is also to request that any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the procurement program of this product should declare their intentions to that effect. (1) Name: Submarine Cable Repair /Burial and Inspection System ( Remotely Operated Vehicle )(2) Overview:Submarine Cable Repair /Burial and Inspection System ( hereinafter ROV system ), which sholud be mounted on the work vessel niminated by NTT, is the main purpose to cut a fault cable and attach the grappnel line to the cable during cable repair procedure. Then she should be capable of burying the cable after laying. The summary of the specification as followings:-Applicable Maximum Water Dept: more than 2500m -- -Propelling Power: more than 100 HP -- -Maximum Burial Depth: more than 1.0m -- -Main components are as followings: a)ROV and attached equipment *Manipulator *TV Camera *Obstacle Avoidance Sonar *Beacon *Water Jet Burying Function *Cable Tracking Equipment b)Launch and Recovery Crane c) Electirc Power / Control Cable and the winch d) Control Unit e)Others (3) Contents of RFI: NTT is inviting the following types of information on a product or technology similar to the above-mentioned system. This is not, however, a request for suppliers to provide proprietary and/or confidential information, (1)Technical information -Weight,dimension propelling power of the ROV -Specification of applicable water depth -- Specification of Water Jetting System including burial depth -Specifications of attached equipment such as TV camera etc. -Specification of Control/ Power cable and required length -Weight, dimension and etc. of Launch and Recovery Crane -- Mounting method and required condition of Launch and RecoveryCrane -Main components and each specification of Control Unit -Explanation of launch and recovery procedure (2)(Budgetary) price The product shall be delivered to Japan and the price shall include all necessary costs for delivery. The price for a converted vessel shall include its total price and its breakdown such as a camera, equipment and machinery, converting cost. (3)Standard time of delivery after ordering (4)Sales records (in Japan and in other countries) (5)Others guarantee system after delivery training system after delivery (4) Request for Declaration of the Intention of Participating as a Subcontractor: Any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the product procurement program of NTT, are requested to supply NTT with the information listed below. After preparing a list of supplied information, NTT will provide the list to suppliers who wish to be provided with it, to those who have responded to the request for supply of the information listed and to those who have received the PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTATION relating to procurement of the product.
