Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for the design, fabrication and test of an antenna that will be towed behind a military aircraft from a 5" pod. The antenna will be used for a subsonic demonstration flight. The antenna will be deployed and towed several hundred feet behind the aircraft before being retracted at completion of demonstration.
