The requirement has since been converted to RFQ Number DADA13-97-Q-0156 and will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Requirements contract to furnish all bacterial test kits, related consumable supplies, laboratory equipment, equipment maintenance, technical assistance and training necessary to perform a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests for a base year and two option years. All diagnostic test materials and equipment provided by the contractor shall be FDA approved. The proposed system shall interface with the Composite Health Care System (CHCS), the interface shall have been written and validated by the Government prior to installation at MAMC. All equipment is required for location within the Microbiology Section at MAMC, Tacoma, Washington. The contractor need not be the manufacturer of each test kit or equipment component. However, the contractor shall assume full responsibility for the system, including providing a single source for customer service and support for all aspects of the testing system.
