Z -- WHOLE BUILDING REPAIRS TO BARRACKS N191, SAN NICOLAS ISLAND, CA SOL N62474-96-B-9573 DUE 061797 POC Margot Haycook, Contract Specialist (805) 989-1017 SOLICITATION NOTICE: The project consists of repair of bachelors quarters, N191 at San Nicolas Island, including plumbing, heating, ventilating, telephone and community television systems, electrical work, fire alarm system, fire sprinkler system, selective demolition required to facilitate work of this contract; seismic resistance modification to roof structure, interior finishes, including metal framing, gypsum board wall and ceiling finishes, carpet, resilient tile flooring, wall covering and painting, doors and door hardware; building insulation, and incidental related work. The Standard Industrial Code for this project is 1522, the small business size standard is $17M. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Anticipated performance time is 210 calendar days. Plans and specifications are anticipated to be available on or about 12 May 1997. Cost of the plans and specifications is $50 per set, nonrefundable.(NOTE: this is a change from the PRESOL Notice dated 032497 which did not include the charge for the solicitation package).
