Craven, Contracting Officer Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment for Project 645-95-101, "Replace Fire Alarm System", at the Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Work shall include, but not limited to the following: Replacement of existing underground fire alarm cable. Replacement of existing fire detection and alarm systems and associated wiring throughout Buildings 1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,13,14,15,16,32. Removal of existing smoke dampers. Replacement of existing sprinklers and minor sprinkler modifications work in Buildings 1,2,5,6, and 10.Various related general construction items including demolition and repair of wall and ceiling finishes and associated patching and painting in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Contractor is also required to provide Guaranty Period Services. Construction work shall be completed within 365 calendar days from the date of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This procurement is not restricted and is opened to both small and large businesses. The Standard Industrial Classification is 1731. The size standard is 7.0 million.
