Z -- REPAIR BILLETING ROOMS, BUILDING 1414, HANSCOM AFB SOL F19650-97-B0013 DUE 061697 POC Edna Alonis, Contracting Officer, (617) 377-3247. This project involves necessary repairs, alterations, and carry out maintenance to Building 1414. The principle items of work include, but are not limited to: Asbestos Removal, Rough and Finish Carpentry, Suspended Ceiling Installation; Drywall Installation and Finishing, Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, Sprinklers, Electrical, Fire Alarm, Cable Television, and Master Antenna Television Systems. Bid Options will be set up to allow execution of this contract to be phased. Separate, Unit-Price, Contract Line Items (CLINs) will be included for Asbestos Abatement of Flooring and Pipe Installation. A separate CLIN will be included for Rehabilitation of the Laundry Facility, and Sprinkler System Service. In addition, there will be bid options for as-built drawings on a Computer-Aided Design System, Replacement of Chilled Water Handling units (pumps, etc.), Movement of Occupants with Furniture, and Replacement of Appliances. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Priced contract. The period of performance willbe 240 calendar days. Separate performance periods of 30 calendar days will be applied to the As-Built Drawings and Laundry Facility CLINs. Each separate CLIN will have its own Notice to Proceed. An exclusionary period will not be applied to the work. Magnitude of Construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
