Devany (409) 766-3852 (Site Code DACW64) The Corps of Engineers, Galveston District intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Houston Trane, Houston, Texas. The contract is for 2, Trane model RTAA-170 Air Cooled Rotary Chillers to include installation at the Jadwin Building, Galveston, Texas. The chillers are to replace existing Trane chillers. Based on the information available at this time, the Government considers the requirement to be sole source due to the existing Trane monitoring and control system in the building. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, if an interested party believes they can meet the above specification, they may submit a statement of their desire to be considered.
