National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA)
requires an Omini Directional Antenna. Specifications as follows: 1)
Antenna shall have a minimum frequency range of 20 MHz and a maximum
frequency range of 1000 MHz or greater. 2) Polarization of this antenna
shall be vertical. 3) Antenna shall have a nominal output impedance of
50 ohms. 4) Antenna shall be omni-directional in the horizontal plane.
5) Antenna shall not require a power supply and shall be passive
without any amplifiers. 6) Antenna shall have operating temperature
ranges at a minimum of -55 degrees C to at least a maximum of 85
degrees C while maintaining calibration and data integrity. Antenna
shall operate in rain or snow without degradation of the electrical
specifications. 7) Antenna shall be equipped with a radome surrounding
the antenna. 8) Antenna shall have a maximum weight of 16lbs. 9)
Antenna shall be mountable on a flat horizontal plate or on a vertical
pipe which has a maximum diameter of 6 inches base to 63mm at the top.
10) Antenna shall not exceed maximum dimensions of 17" x 17" x 17". 11)
Antenna shall be made of durable and light weight material. 12) The
radio's frequency connector shall be a type N. 13) The antenna shall
have a minimum gain of -37 dBi. 14) The antenna shall be calibrated
over 20 MHz to 1000 MHz in accordance with mil std. 45662a. 15) Sail
area shall not exceed 260 sq. feet. There is no formal RFQ. Interested
