The Department of State is seeking sources to safely and accurately
detect radioactive leakage to prevent exposure to the Department's
personnel. The radiation meter must be battery operated, light weight
and portable with lighting and audio indications to allow for operation
in dark environments. The unit must also have the ability to accept
Geiger-Mueller radiation detectors, neutron probes, proportional
counters and scintillation probes operating from 300 to 1,300 volts.
The selected unit must be capable of operating within a range of 1
micro R/hr to 1m R/hr or 1CPM to 1,000,000 CPM and have operator
controlled variable response time selection, analog/digital display and
data logging. Each unit must include a copy of the calibration data
