The Defense Supply Service-Washington, on behalf of Composite Health Care System has intends to procure services for a Consortium Agreement for Research and Development Services for Advanced Distribution Object-Oriented Application. It is the Government's intent to negotiate a firm-fixed price commercial contract on a sole source basis for a base and two option periods, with Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC), 3500 West Balcones Center Drive, Austin, TX 78759-5398. This synopsis is a notice of intent, and should not be considered a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation document exists and requests for such will not be considered. However, if a response is received that meets the requirement, and analysis indicates a competitive acquisition would be more advantageous to the Government, a formal solicitation may be issued. Prospective contractors must respond to this notice in writing fifteen (15) calendar days after date of publication of this notice. In the event that no potential source responds with clear and convincing evidence documenting the ability to satisfy this requirement, and award will be conducted with MCC Corporation.
