qualified sources for the inspection and repair of one (1) each
Positive Clutch used onboard 378' WHEC Coast Guard vessels. Contractor
shall be responsible for providing all labor and materials to receive,
disassemble, inspect, report, overhaul, reassemble, test, and preserve
the Positive Clutch in accordance with current Original Equipment
Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and standards and Coast Guard
Specification Number 026-R-242-223 dated 3/97. All parts to be
furnished and used with the repairs must be genuine OEM parts. It is
the Government's belief that only the OEM, SSS Clutch Company, and/or
their authorized dealers, can provide the required service(s). However,
other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities
can submit data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 calendar
days from the date of this announcement. The following information must
be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts and
service: (1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the
acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., salient physical, functional
and serviceability characteristics); and (2) Data that the required
services have been provided to the Government or the original equipment

issued pursuant to FAR 5.207(e)(3) and TAM 1205.207. No cost or pricing

Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related
contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interestrates ~to provide accounts receivable
