The proposals will be available to pre-qualified vendors in the local metroplex area to include cities within a 50 mile radius of the regional office. The SIC code for this requirement is 8999. Any companies that wish to be considered for this procurement should contact the Contracting Officer not later than April 30, 1997 to receive a Screening Information Request (SIR) for pre-evaluation. All SIR's are to be returned to the Contracting Officer not later than May 19, 1997. Request for Proposals will be issued approximately June 13, 1997 to qualified offerors with proposals due approximately July 11, 1997. Qualified contractors will be required to attend a mandatory site visit prior to proposal due date, (to be set at a later date). The base performance period for this requirement is October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1998, with 4-(four) 1-(one) year options to renew.
