Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking proposals for the establishment
and maintenance of a tracking and vouchering system for the National
Institute of Correction's Technical Assistant and Training programs.
Offerors wishing consideration shall submit a request for solicitation
in writing to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, 320 First Street, Suite
618, Washington, D.C. 20534 ATTN: Donna Fox, Contracting Officer.
Request for solicitation may be faxed to (202) 514-0523, ATTN: Donna
Fox, Contracting Officer. Telephonic requests for solicitations WILL
NOT BE ACCEPTED. In an effort to reduce the number of duplicate
requests, if you elect to fax your request in writing, PLEASE DO NOT
follow up with a hard/mailed copy. This solicitation will contain
provisions for a base performance period, and four (4) one year option
periods. The Government reserves its unilateral right to exercise any
ensuing option period. It is the intention of the Federal Bureau of
Prisons to make a single award to the offeror whose proposal offers the
best value to the Government in terms of technical superiority, past
performance and price, listed in decending order of importance. The
estimated release date of the solicitation will be May 19, 1997. The
estimated due date for receipt of offers will be June 16, 1997.
Prospective offerors are advised that these dates are tentative and are
subject to change. This requirement is being synopsized as a 100% small
