Geraghty Services required to develop and implement a facility-wide
Customer Service Training program for approximately 1,050 employees at
VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV. Scope of the project will include
the development of the training program based on information provided
by the VA. (Examples of information available includes: National &
Local Customer Satisfaction Survey results, feedback from
patients/families, Performance Improvement data.) Contractor will be
asked to conduct and design the training sessions and conduct sessions
for all levels of staff, including physicians, nurses, technicians,
administrators, support staff. The contractor shall also provide a plan
for maintaining the focus of Customer Service along with review and
measurement strategies. SPECIAL NOTE: THIS ACQUISITION IS A SMALL
BUSINESS SET-ASIDE UNDER SIC 8999. A Small Business is one whose
average annual receipts for the past three (3) years did not exceed $5
million dollars. Cost range $25,000 and $100,000. A firm-fixed
pricecontract is anticipated to be awarded. Requests for Proposals
(RFP) 613-42-97 is scheduled to be released on or about May 7, 1997
with a response date of May 28, 1997. This is a commercial service
procurement done under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12,
Acquisition of Commercial Items. Potential offerors are required to
submit WRITTEN requests for a copy of the solicitation/RFP to the
Contracting Officer. Please provide a complete mailing address, name
and telephone number of the point of contact for the organization.
