The aircraft to be operated is a Gumman Gulfstream, Model G-159, designated NASA 3. The aircraft will be operated from Government-leased facilities at the Huntsville International Airport, Huntsville, Alabama. Hangar, shop and office space, aircraft parking apron, etc., will be located at the Huntsville International Airport at the facility owned by Signature Flight Support. See Numbered Note 26. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about 5/6/97. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.
