Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate
a modification to contract N00019-94-C-0062 with the Northrop Grumman
Corporation, Bethpage, New York. This effort consists of the
modification of the F-14D Integrated Weapon Systems Maintenance Trainer
(IWSMT) to include the Global Positioning System and development of an
"O" level maintenance Course Conduct Information Package (CCIP) with
presentations; the modification of the F-14 Flight Controls System
Trainer for the Digital Flight Control System and the development of an
"O" level CCIP and presentations; the modification of the F-14
Electrical System Trainer to incorporate the aircraft Engine Breather
Pressure Monitoring System; the modification of the F-14A, B Upgrade
and D IWSMTs to incorporate the Precision Strike LANTIRN System, which
is already in aircraft; the modification of the two F-14A/B Upgrade
IWSMTs for TARPS (Digital Imaging) and the development of a CCIP with
presentations; and to provide "O" and "I" level maintenance CCIPs for
F-14A/B/D aircraft for the Precision Strike Night Vision Imaging System
(NVIS). As the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the F-14
aircraft, Northrop Grumman is the only known source with the required
knowledge and expertise of the aircraft configurations to successfully
