Upgrade is needed to repair one CMS which is inoperative and is no longer supportable and to bring the second CMS to same configuration. The second CMS is also exhibiting the beginning of the failure mode as first machine. The upgrade/modification will be purchased as sole source with Giddings & Lewis, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1).
