The program's primary mission is to provide a centralized, coordinated method for installing approved field changes for Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) cognizance electronic equipment. Field Change Kits consist of a field change bulletin and necesary parts. Parts can vary from a wire to bigger components suchas circuit card assemblies, depending on complexity of the field change. A field change kit may also contain technical manual change pages. Tasking includes, but is not limited to, providing managerial and technical support by coordinating installation of field changes, assembling, maintaining and installing field changes, generating Shipboard Activity Reports (SARs), and providing field change database management.
