Reference R&D Sources Sought Synopsis dated 20 Feb 97 for specifics on this acquisition -- This is a Research and Development Notice of Intent to Contract -- The Air Force Phillips Laboratory intends to contract for development of critical technologies for future military spaceplanes (MSP) using ground based technology demonstrations for a Military Spaceplane Integrated Technology Testbed. One or multiple Cost Plus Fixed Fee contracts for research and development of a Military Spaceplane Integrated Technology Testbed (ITT) ground demonstration consisting of an effort to develop a computer testbed model. It may also include options for multiple technology, component and subsystem hardware demonstrations to support and enable the acquisition and deployment of MSP systems in the next century.
