A -- JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER (JSF) SURFACE EROSION MATERIALS CHARACTERIZATION POC Contact, Lisa Bregman, Phone (703)604-6100 The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to British Aerospace Defence Limited, Lancaster House, P.O. Box 87, Farnborough Aerospace Center, Farnborough, Hants, UK GU14 6YU for an expanded database on surface resistance to jet blast. This data will be used to support quantification of any operational limits of the JSF concepts in shipboard environments and at austere sites. Surfaces that will be tested include road grade concrete, road grade asphalt, AM-2 matting and US Navy and Royal Navy non-skid deck surfacing.
