D -- OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF AIRBORNE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK DUE 052197 POC Ms Darlene Fry, 618-256-9494 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to issue Communication Service Authorizations to AT&T to continue the operation and maintenance of a communications network that allows airborne platforms to communicate with terrestrial communications and satellite networks to provide worldwide access to the National Military Command Center (NMCC). This network will provide a combined air-to-ground Ultra-High-Frequency (UHF) radio system and worldwide satellite link capability for the National Airborne Operations Center. It is the intent of the Government to lease the connectivity and equipment from AT&T Corporation via Communications Service Authorizations against a Basic Agreement.
