K -- F-16 ISA TEST STATIONS UPGRADE SOL FO4699-97-R-0048 DUE 060997 POC For copy, contact the info office indicated., For additional information contact Courts.K5c/Pkocd/[916]643-3824 McClellan AFB is purchasing an upgrade of Integrated Servo Actuator Horizontal/Tail Flaperon (ISA) Test Stations, AAI/ACL Technologies Model 9830-0031 and Industrial Measurement and Controls Model 2000, NSN 4920 01 096 3252. The test stations consist of two separate items; Electronic Console and Hydraulic Test Console. The contractor shall perform upgrading of components and hardware in the Electronic Console, along with the Data Acquisition and Processing System portions of the Hydraulic ISA Test Station(s) located at McClellan AFB CA. Upgrade services shall improve and update the electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems, along with the computer network. It is expected that 30%, 60% and 90% in-process reviews will be held during contract performance period. Training and The approximate issue/response date will be 08 May 97. No telephone requests. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
