The work will consist of constructing new interpretive facilities including interpretive sign panels, frames and pedestals, and site developments such as paved trails, boardwalks, concrete retaining walls, rock walls, stream modifications and utilities. Building construction will consist of a group shelter of approximately 1100 square feet, an in-stream fish viewing chamber of approximately 400 square feet and a kiosk of approximately 200 square feet. Project is located at Wildwood Recreation Site, approximately 40 miles east of Portland on Highway 26 near Welches, Oregon. The estimated start work date is July 1, 1997 with 150 calendar days for performance. The estimated price is between $500,000 and $750,000.00.
