This includes the removing of all trees and stumps and performing the necessary dirt work to restore the area to a mowable state for farm type tractors. When conducting debris burns, it may be necessary for the contractor to extend work hours to monitor and extinguish burns. The park rangers will obtain the necessary burn permit from the fire department and over see the burn operation. Location of the work is Vicksburg National MIlitary Park, 3201 Clay Street, Vicksburg Mississippi. Solicitation will be available on or about May 12, 1997. No telephone request.
