a market survey of industry to determine if potential contractors, in
addition to Lockheed Martin Corp, can provide the following F-16 weapon
system initial provisioning requirements. Provisioning includes the
process of determining and acquiring the range and quantity of spare
and repair parts for all levels of supply and maintenance, and support
and test equipment required to operate and maintain an end item for an
initial period of service. Provisioning technical documentation is the
data needed for the identification, selection, determination of
initial requirements, and cataloging of support items to be acquired
through the provisioning process. It includes such things as
provisioning lists and logistics support analysis summaries. The
government intends to extend the period of performance for the above
contracts for five years. 00-ALC is procuring F-16 weapon system
provisioning documentation, data, services and initial spares/repair
parts for the USAF/EPAF/FMS customers. This includes support equipment
and special test equipment. This proposed contractual action is for
supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and
negotiate with only one source under the authority of Far 6.302 For
which an appropriately approved J&A has been accomplished. It is
suggested that small business firms or others interested in
subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described
procurement, make contact with the firm(s) listed. This contract
modification will be issued approximately 97 sep 01. To: Lockheed

TX 76101-0748. Only written or faxed requests received directly from
the requestor are acceptable for consideration for this requirement.
Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or services)
required are available from only one or a limited number of
responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will
satisfy agency requirements. Submit your reply in writing within 10
working days after publiciation of this notice to Wanda Peterson,
OO-ALC/LFK, BLDG 1233, 6072 Fir Ave, Hill Air Force Base, UT
84056-5825. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services
for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only
one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302.
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to
respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent
is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals
received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under
an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this
synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the
Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses
to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose
