The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for Standard Reference Materials (SRM) Hardness Test Blocks for Rockwell "C" Scale at the following hardness levels and quantities; 25 HRC (200 each), 45 HRC (150 each), and 63 HRC (100 each). Offerors shall be required to submit test samples of the proposed product. NIST will be responsible for all calibration efforts. All SRM blocks to be provided in response to this requirement shall be delivered to NIST, prior to the performance of any and all calibration tasks. Delivery is required within sixty (60) days after the date of purchase order award (FOB Destination -- Gaithersburg, MD). Detailed specifications are available in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) package. All requests for a copy of the RFQ package shall be submitted in writing to the above address.
