BRAZIL: TECHNICAL REGULATION ON CRYOGENIC LIQUIDS The following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif.97.122. 1. Member to Agreement notifying: BRAZIL. ICS numbers may be provided in addition, where applicable): Cryogenic Liquids (Fluid With a Boiling Point of Less than 120K (-153 Dgrees C) under Atmosphere Pressure Conditions, and that have been Liquefied through Refrigeration. 5. Description of content: This Regulation establishes the minimum conditions which measurement appliances and systems for cryogenic liquids should satisfy. A deadline from now until 31 December 1997 was established for requirements to be presented to INMETRO asking for model approval for measurement appliances and systems for cryogenic liquids. The measurement appliances and systems for cryogenic liquids in the characteristics within which they are currently produced, will be submitted to initial verification tests, from 31 October 1997. The measurement appliances and systems for cryogenic liquids which are used by supplier companies will be used while the measurement errors remain within the prescribed tolerances under the present Metrological Technical Regulation. 7.
