The U.S. Embassy, Paramaribo, Suriname requires the operation and management of local guard services in order to prevent unauthorized access, protect life, maintain order, deter criminal acts against employees and dependents and to protect against damage to property and terrorist acts against U.S. assets. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside, using SIC code 7381 as the size standard definition. The contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel to accomplish all work as required under this contract. The estimated number of hours is 127,332 man-hours. These requirements may change depending on funds availability in forthcoming periods and operational requirements. The solicitation is for a base year with four one-year options. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing. Telephone requests will not be honored. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which shall be considered. This solicitation is not yet ready to be issued, but is expectedto be released in the mid to late May timeframe.
