Work under this project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and incidentals necessary for the construction of Access and Entrance Roads and Parking Lots. Work under Project No. 8892-1(2&4) will be for Access Road and Parking Lot and will consist of grading work, aggregate base and asphalt concrete paving. Work under Project No. 478-1(2&4) will be for the construction of an Entrance road and Parking Lot and will consist of grading work, culvert installation, aggregate base and asphalt concrete paving. Both projects are located in Stroud, Oklahoma, in Lincoln County. The estimated amount of construction is between $250,000.00-$500,000.00. Requests for bid package should be addressed to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Anadarko Area Office, Branch of Contracts, P.O. Box 368, Anadarko, OK 73005, Attention: Rose L. Roberson, Contracting Officer. Project to be completed no later than two hundred eleven (211) calendar days from receipt of Notive to Proceed. Mandatory Pre-Bid Conferenceto be held at project site one week before bid opening. Bid opening to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 1997, in the Branch of Contract Management, Anadarko Area Office, Anadarko, OK. Section 7 (b) of Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 require that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska economic enterprises. Failure by the contractor to submit a plan for doing so prior to award and implement same after award shall be sufficient reason for non-award or termination of the contract for default. (0112)
