Cole Provide labor, material and equipment to accomplish Project 96-101, Morgue Renovation in Bldg 2 r ground floor at the DVAMC, Salisbury, NC. This project will include demolition of some masonry and plaster walls, plaster and acoustical ceilings and some ceramic tile floors. The autopsy table, morgue refrigerator, metal casework, surgical light and morgue scale will be replaced with new. The existing air handler and exhaust system will be replaced with new and duct will be modified. Existing C.T. floors will be replaced with new; new masonry and plaster and steel stud and gypsum board walls will be constructed as well as new ceiling. Plumbing system will be modified to accommodate equipment changes and to provide a body fluid collection system. All work shall be accomplished within 240 calendar days; 120 calendar days shall be allowed for submittal review and material delivery with 120 calendar days for actual on-site construction. SIC code 1542 is assigned to this procurement. Estimated construction between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business i/a/w recent OSDBU requirements. A firms average annual receipts for each of the three preceding fiscal years can not exceed $17,000,000. Firms must request in writing a copy of the bid documents which will be available o/a 5/13/97.
