In order that potential sources may learn of the interest and establish a list of potential sources interested in providing the subject requirement, an advance notice is published herein. The Savannah, Georgia District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers may be tasked to provide temporary housing for disaster victims in the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The requirement may include the acquisition of Mobile homes/travel trailers (ranging from 28' to 32' in length) and 14' x 60' single wide mobile homes. Service requirements may require hauling, installing and making ready for occupancy of travel trailers and single wide mobile home trailers, as well as installation of electrical service, potable water supply, waste water collection and disposal, natural gas, etc. The requirement may include the placement of these trailers on private property, existing group sites, and the development of or expansionof new group sites. Other requirements may include, but not limited to, the following: Construct and install handicap ramp; fill propane tanks on travel trailers; install additional stoops; provide additional electric, sewer and water lines; supply propane gas; supply and install kitchen and bathroom faucets; and supply generator for testing of units. Firms interested who possess the capabilities necessary to meet the above requirements are invited to submit sales literature addressing the requirement and published price lists. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be added to a list of potential sources and will be considered in any resultant solicitation.
