Morris, (501) 324-6844. The work consists of construction of a flood control structure. The structure consists of approximately 490 linear feet of vertical reinforced concrete panels and approximately 685 linear feet of stoplogs at 20 feet on center. Four exisiting drainage culverts will be removed and replaced with reinforced concrete pipe drainage culverts with new grate (surface) inlets at two of the inlet ends and new concrete headwalls at the other two inlet ends, and new concrete headwalls and flap gates at all of the outlet ends. Additionally, one new drainage culvert with grate (surface) inlet on one end and headwall on other will be installed. There will be approximately 1,800 square yards of new asphalt pavement and base course. Estimated magnitude of work is between $250,000.00 and %500,000.00. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about May 12, 1997 at a cost of $44.25 for solicitation and full size drawings; $39.00 for solicitation and half size drawings; $29.25 for solicitation only (no drawings). Charges are NONREFUNDABLE. Solicitation documents will be made available upon written request (NO FAX) to include check or money order (NO CASH) payable to the FAO, US Army, LRD, and mailed to the Contracting Division at the above address. In order to receive documents in a timely manner, requests should be received by May 1, 1997.
