This directorate intends to procure this project as a competitive buy under the 8(a) Program and is restricted to 8(a) firms serviced by the Albuquerque Small Business Administration District Office. Interested 8(a) firms must have an SBA approved Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code of 1623 with a size standard of $17.0M. The total magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 for a one-year basic performance period and two one-year option periods. In general the project consists of removing, adding, repairing, and/or replacing existing sewer mains and laterals, storm drain inlets, curbs, and gutters; as well as reconstructing existing subgrade and base course materials. The work also includes trenching for removal and replacement of existing sewer lines, cleaning of existing sewer mains and laterals, backfilland compaction of excavated materials, and patching of asphalt and concrete pavements as required. This IFB is based upon your understanding that (1) funds are not currently available and (2) if funds do not become available no obligation will be incurred by the Government because of this IFB.
