This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to enter a sole source agreement with Richards Medical Inc., 6000 N. Canon Del Pajaro, Tucson, AZ 85714 for assorted type and sizes of Smith and Nephew Fracture Implants to be used on veteran patients. Solicitation #678-31-97 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The contract is for base year and four option years. Required delivery schedule is 30 days from date of contract award. Items will be delivered to VAMC Tucson, 3601 S. 6th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85723. Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items are to be included in your submission. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items applies to thisacquisition along with any addenda to the clause. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implemenet Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition in addition to the following FAR clauses a) 52.203-10, Price or Fee Adjustment for Illegal or Improper Activity (41 U.S.C.); and b) Buy American Act -- Supplies (41 U.S.C. 10). The Government reserves the right to use a Purchase Card to pay for items acquired from this solicitation.
