National Gallery of Art has a requirement for a Thermal Imager, Silicon
Lens with AR coating, Lens adapter with the following salient features;
The terrmal imager must have a large format, 512 x 512 pixel, platinum
silicide focalplane array. It msut be colled electrically with a
Stirling Cycle Cooler. It must be operable over the full 1-5 micron
range. It must be configurable to narrower regions solely by switching
external filters or lenses. The package must include a Nikon style
lens mount (f-mount) adapter. The package must include a germanium lens
to allow the camera to operate in the 3-5 micron range. The camera and
its components must be operable and immediately compatible-without
modifications with the existing computer system, which includes 1. a
Macintosh Quadra Computer, a Perceptics Pixelbuffer NuBus video frame
grabber card, and 2. a Macintosh Power Mac computer, a Scion PCI video
frame grabber card AG-5 and 3. Systems Analytics' IP-Lab Spectrum
software, and Adobe Photoshop software. The package must include the
pre-assembled infrared camera together with a camera control box that
enables the camera to be connected to a video monitor and computer
frame grabber via a BNC connector. The camera must have a 2 year parts
