Requests for copies of this solicitation should include your commercial and government entity (CAGE, a CAGE code has been assigned to you) along with your name, address, data fax number, and solicitation number. All IOC solicitations are available for viewing/downloading, in addition to procurement history, via the AAIS. The AAIS is accessible electronically 24 hours a day via modem at (309)782-7648. Terminal emulation should be VT100, no parity, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit. Once connected, enter 'aais' at the 'LOGIN' prompt. At the 'PASSWORD' prompt depress the 'ENTER' key. Information obtained through AAIS is also available on the Internet. Prospective customers may now access the IOC home page at http://www-ioc.army.mil/. The current method of accessing data through AAIS will remain in place until further notice. At which time access using modems and login will be discontinued. The U>S> Army Industrial Operations Command is seeking interested sources and comments on draft scopes of work (SOW) for the administration of Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant (LAAP)> There is currently no U>S> Army Industrial Operation Command production being performed at LAAAP. In addition to the administration of LAAAP, interested sources should be capable of maintaining the currently inactive Y-Line which produces metal parts. They should also be capable of activating and operating the Y-Line in support ofthe Army's replenishment mission. Further, interested sources should be able to market the facility for commercial purposes. Funds to assist in the successful marketing of the plant may be available under the Armament Retooling & Manufacturing Support (ARMS) Initiative. Only contractors who can demonstrate relevant and significant management experience of similar SOWs should respond.
